help fund the student experience

We want to bring as many students to the Summit next year as possible...

And in 2019 we are expanding our programming with The Student Experience.  The inclusion of students into our conference offerings would contribute to the community engagement and continue to expand the financial wellness conversation further across the country. The HEFW Student Experience would be largely focused around a full-day, pre-conference workshop where students can interact with one another to:

·        Learn from speakers for training/development purposes

·        Learn from each other about the financial wellness practices across different campuses

·        Strengthen financial wellness peer programs in early development

·        Share ideas on how to build/improve more established programs and develop best practices.

But as we all know, it's difficult to make conference travel for students possible because of all the various costs (travel, meals, lodging, overhead, etc.).  We're hoping that some members of our community are willing to help defray the cost of a student to attend.

Thanks to the Indiana University Office of the Bicentennial, we have already received funds that will allow us to bring several students to the 2019 Summit and The Student Experience.  However, we want to find ways to bring more students.

If you and/or your organization want to help fund The Student Experience and bring more students to the Summit please click the buttons on this page.  If you have any questions about The Student Experience and/or the 2019 Summit, please e-mail info@hefwa.org.

contribute to the student experience

Any amount you can contribute is appreciated.  The total cost is $800 for lodging, food, travel, facilities and conference materials for one student.

If all members of the HEFW Listserv contributed $10, we'd be able to bring 10 students to the Summit
